So the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2018 took place Sunday night on March 11 and well, it witnessed the presence of several sparkling B-Town stars. Naturally, the night saw some amazing style statements including those made by Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde among others. But the one that truly resonated with us was that made by Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor for being just as relatable and effortless to work IRL as it was elegant, chic and gorgeous.

Mira, as it happens, was receiving the ‘Critics Best Actor of the Year’ award on behalf of Shahid who is currently in Dehradun shooting for his next, Batti. Ahead of accepting the trophy, Mira even went on record to say that Hello! held a special place in her heart since it was the first place where she and Shahid received their first couple’s award and also the first mag they covered as a couple.

Anyway, coming back to Mira’s style statement, here are all the deets of this stunner of a look…

What She Wore

For the do, Mira was styled by Anisha Jain of Style Cell and like many looks of the diva in the recent past, this one too was strictly black and white. The beautiful star wife was seen wearing a monochromatic drape over a pair of black cigarette pants and a strapless black bustier, all courtesy of Shantanu & Nikhil.

Shoes & Accessories

Mira’s accessorisation was limited to a signature Shantanu & Nikhil belt that cinched the drape at the waist and a pair of tiny floral studs adorning her ears. She then stepped into a pair of classic black pumps to match her outfit.

Hair & Makeup

Kapoor stuck to her usual makeup artist and hair stylist, Saniya Shadadpura who did a great job with the lady yet again. Winged eyes, blushed cheeks and peachy-pink lips perfectly rounded off Mira’s look.

Verdict

Okay, we’ll admit, we do have a thing for the ethnic drape; be it the classic version of it or a deconstructed or reinvented version of it. And pant sarees, in particular, are a favourite with us for the considerable amount of the urban chic vibe they give off. Now add interesting drapes and broad statement belt to it, and we are sold then and there, as were on Mira’s choice of ensemble. Plus there was the matter of her forever-on-fleek hair and makeup which took the over appeal of the look several notches higher.
