Naomie Harris Looks Stunning As She Works Spring Florals Effortlessly In Fall
Step aside all of you who play it safe in the fashion department, because this one is for those who don’t give two hoots about sartorial rulebooks. If you were one of those who wondered that fall florals have to do with ditsy botanical prints that are dark, here’s a little myth buster courtesy a cheery look. Actress Naomie Harris just gave us a lesson on how to work a bold multi-hued floral spring dress in Fall. For the world premiere of Collateral Beauty last night at New York City’s Lincoln Center, the stunning star stepped out in a strapless yellow floral outfit that was nothing short of chic.
Known for her great red carpet looks, the former Bond girl indulged in some yellow drama thanks to her dress by Rosie Assoulin’s Spring 2017 collection. While the runway look is slightly voluminous and also lengthier, the actress preferred a rather sleek version for her outing. No qualms whatsoever. In fact, I must say she nailed her look. Styled by Micaela Erlanger, she completed her ensemble with a pair of neon yellow pumps by Rupert Sanderson, and a yellow minaudière. Harris preferred minimal jewellery by Irene Neuwirth and Amanda Pearl.
If you look at her make-up, she’s kept it both sleek and simple — side-parted hair with nude lips. Think she skipped fall elements together? Well, the actress opted for glitter eyeliner and a berry-hued nail colour. What I particularly liked is the how she kept her entire look strictly minimal.
I’ve got to mention the one styling tip Erlanger imparts through this look that is a must-know for all — in case one of the elements in your ensemble is busy (here the outfit), ensure the rest is kept stylish yet subtle.
