Proof That Gigi Hadid’s Acing The Print-On-Print Trend
Monotones, athleisures, pyjama dressing, anti-fit, cut-offs… there are several trends that we know Gigi Hadid has already mastered and the diva is now out there working yet another trend and acing it like the pro that she is. The supermodel just worked print-on-print with two season favourites… florals and ginghams. And as was expected, she ended up giving us major style goals for the umpteenth time.
What She Wore
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Gigi was snapped post a photoshoot wearing a cloud grey Prada shirt adorned with red, black and yellow printed floral motifs and ruffle detailing running along its length on the front. She teamed her bold florals with a pair of gingham-checked Miaou pants with a Chanel-like leather and metal chain as a waist tie.
Shoes & Accessories
With her outfit, Gigi stepped into a pair of silver pointy-toed mules and lugged a black clutch. She then threw on her black cat-eye sunnies to complete her look, though she did away with them for her evening appearance.
Hair & Makeup
Though Gigi was initially papped with left down tousled hair and assumably no makeup, she dressed up her look for the evening with settled, side-swept hair, defined eyes and bold red lips.
Honestly, we aren’t big fans of the print-on-print trend, especially when the prints are loud and busy. But Gigi sure is making us reconsider our judgement with this ensemble which is just as chic as it is pretty. Needless to add that we like the bold lips version of her look better.
