It’s an established fact that florals are an all-season trend. They may vary in colour and size but they never really go out of fashion. But with the kind of floral frenzy that has gripped the fashion world over the last couple of years, we wonder if florals can even be called a trend anymore; they’ve become more of a staple. As it would happen then with any staple, this one needs to be worked exceptionally well too if you want it to stand out. And Alia Bhatt seems to have her floral game absolutely on-fleek as she demoed recently as she stepped out for Raazi promotions on Rising Star.

Here, take a look…

What She Wore

For the do, Alia teamed up with her usual stylists, Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, who picked out a beautiful off-white mesh dress with a frilly neckline by Giambattista Valli. The dress was adorned with tiny black and pink floral patches all over.

Shoes & Accessories

Alia kept up with her usual minimalist approach to accessorisation and opted for a couple of delicate rings on each hand. A pair of her trusty nude ankle-strap heels grounded her look.

Hair & Makeup

Styled by Priyanka Borkar, Alia’s hair was pulled back in a low pony and her look was rounded off by makeup artist Puneet B Saini with nude eyes and nude pink lips.

Verdict

Well, if you are working a particular trend, the best way to go is to stick to the experts, Giambattista Valli being one in florals. While the outfit itself is classy and chic, Alia’s bringing her signature cuteness along to make this look an absolute delight. The minimal accessories and subtle makeup are further adding to the look’s appeal.
