Why We Are In Love With Kangana Ranaut’s Sabyasachi Saree
Remember that time when Kangana Ranaut failed to impress us with her saree? Yes, neither do we! The actress has single-handedly contributed as much to the ethnic drape’s new-found ‘chic’ status as the rest of the put together. From elaborately embroidered red-carpet worthy sarees to casual, travel drapes and everything in between, the actress has given us enough occasion to believe that as far as the saree is concerned, Ranaut can do no wrong. And she was proving it yet again Saturday evening as she graced the Rising India Summit.
Here, take a look…
What She Wore
Kangana teamed up with her trusted stylist, Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya for the do who picked out a gorgeous saree for the diva by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The black and gold polka-dotted saree with a paisley print border went with multicoloured floral blouse featuring a Chinese collar. The saree was then belted at the waist with a signature Sabyasachi belt in black.
Shoes & Accessories
The only accessory other than the belt was a pair of gorgeous stud earrings, also by Sabyasachi. Kangana then grounded her look with a pair of Needledust juttis.
Hair & Makeup
Kangana’s curly mane of hair was styled in a classy, braided updo by hair stylist Divya Naik and her look was finished off by makeup artist Loveleen Ramchandani with nude eyes, blushed cheeks and pretty peach lips.
Okay, so you must have figured already from the prelude that we are absolutely and thoroughly in love with this look, primarily because it’s a beautiful nod to the print-on-print with two of our favourite prints, aka, florals and polkas. Then there is also the colour-blocking that comes along with the prints and the fact that, despite the mix-n-match, everything still looks so in place just makes it so much more appealing. And goes without saying, her beautifully styled hair and perfectly done makeup are playing their parts extremely well too.
