by MFG

Owning various popular handbag brands is a wish every woman has. One can never have enough handbags and it’s an aspiration for any celeb to have one after their name.

Many luxury handbags named after celebs are getting extremely popular around the world. Luckily few of them are fortunate enough to get one after their name. Here is the list of top 5 handbags named after celebrities and are worth the money…

1. Birkin Bag:

As far as iconic bags named after celebrities go, the Birkin is one of the most famous. The legend of the Birkin bag all started when one of the head honchos at Hermès heard singer and actress Jane Birkin complaining that she wasn’t able to find an elegant, roomy bag that she liked. And, well, the rest is history.

2. Ballin bag named after Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney lawyer and wife of Hollywood actor George Clooney, has been the inspiration for the renaming of one of Italian brand Ballin’s key bags. The company renamed the style after this well-turned-out human rights lawyer as an honor to her.

3. Mulberry Alexa satchel

The Mulberry bag was unveiled in 2010 and was named after model, style icon and presenter Alexa Chung. It is a combination of two of the label’s iconic styles: the Bayswater bag and the Elkington briefcase. Mulberry’s ‘Alexa’ satchel became its best-selling style of all time when it was launched in 2009

4. Luella named a bag after Giselle Bundchen

Another model to have had a bag named after her was Giselle Bundchen. British brand Luella named the bag in her honour and sent this glamorous Brazilian model down the runway carrying one.  It became iconic bags for the now defunct British label and was one of its best selling items.
