Get Your Next Summer Outfit Inspiration From Our Favourite Style Bloggers
Let’s face the facts, our wardrobe pretty much consists of tees, denims and the occasional wide-legged trouser and dressy top. For the most part, putting these looks together work for just about every situation, but just because we hold onto a few classic wardrobe choices doesn’t mean we should have to sacrifice indulging in the latest seasonal trends. Thankfully, that’s where our very own and most noted style influencers come in to save the day. Ahead, we break down three looks from a few of our favourite personal style bloggers, and show you how each masters summer dressing like a pro.
1. Summer layering by Shereen Sikka Bharwani
When in search of a perfectly put together look, we head straight to Shereen of Love And Other Bugs. And this season, she’s been particularly on point when it comes to getting into the breezy yet chic vibe. In this look, pairing a button down skirt layered over a pleated shirt dress, she shows a hint of skin, which keeps the look feeling summer-appropriate and extremely fashionable at the same time.
2. Co-ordinated chic courtesy of Aashna Shroff
All it takes is a careful eye and a little time to notice the blogger’s outfit advice and ideas in each post, which is exactly what we’re here for. Aashna Shroff of The Snob Journal is always surprising us with new ways to conceptualise our wardrobes, and for that, we’re eternally grateful. Here, we love her summery take with this mustard suited co-ord set, particularly the unexpected pairing with a black crop top which keeps things airy and breathable, accessorised with a matching and minimal satchel bag and shoes.
3. Transitional florals as shown by Juhi Godambe
Summer florals don’t have to be your typical form of bright, shiny and sunny prints. With her fresh take on the otherwise regular print, Juhi Godambe proves that florals can be equal parts chic and trendy. Seen here pairing a floral skirt with a crisp white shirt and punchy bright tote, Juhi shows us the transitional capabilities of the print, easily decked up in a shirt for formal evenings and can very well be dressed down with a casual graphic tee by day.
