Haven’t you’ll noticed that embroidery is everywhere? Be it on your fave denims or your white off-shouldered top or your midi dresses. And why not? Embroidery, very simply brings a garment to life (at least we think so). Whether in small motifs on your denim jackets or in excess on your maxi dresses, embroidered embellishments are everywhere and there is no denying it.

Probably one of Fall 2017’s biggest trends, the embroidered trend is even an easy one to style. Embroidered fashions such as a bomber jacket can easily take a plain date-night outfit from looking drab to fab or a slim pair of embroidered jean and a white top can get you brunch ready in minutes. Looking for inspiration to sport the trend? We suggests you turn to Athiya Shetty like we did!

Spotted in an embroidered maxi dress, Athiya looked her gorgeous self during the promotions of her upcoming movie Mubarakan. Styled by Ami Patel, Athiya had on a Hemant & Nandita blue maxi with cut out long sleeves. Basked at the waist, the dress fell low at the tall actress’ ankles and the low V neck exposed her model-like collar bones. The simple blue dress had on delicate floral embroidered work that helped lend a very girl-y feel to the look.

Athiya kept her makeup simple and went with pink lips that matched the floral work on her dress. the actress left her hair open in soft and long waves and accessorised with a watch and a few rings. Athiya’s dress could be just the perfect pick for a summer’s day out when it’s too hot to layer. The airy and long maxi helps keep it casual while the embroidered work helps lend that added bit of elegance to the garb.
