Gigi Hadid Amped Up Her Basic Outfit With These Outrageously Gorg Shoes
Alright, it’s official! Gigi Hadid IS trying to give us all a serious shoe envy… why else would she don such insanely gorgeous pairs of shoes every freaking time she steps out. And her collection of ankle boots, in particular, is something to covet and crush on. Be it her bold red Stuart Weitzman ‘The Cling’ boots or the white ones from the same label or her Barbenara China Girls boots, the supermodel has a pair to soothe every sore eye. Adding yet another gorgeous chapter to her extensive, eclectic and elegant shoe diary is this latest one which is also marking Gigi’s official stamp of approval on the animal print- a trend that’s long been lurking in the hindsight waiting for an opportunity to come mainstream.
Hadid stepped out of her NYC apartment yesterday looking like her usual glam self and here are all the deets on her look…
What She Wore
Styled by Mimi Cutrell, Gigi was seen working smart, yet intentionally unkempt casuals including a pair of faded blue cropped jeans that she teamed with a partially untucked, brown shirt from Etro’s Fall 2017 Ready-to-wear collection.
Shoes & Accessories
With her cool casuals, Gigi stepped into a pair of animal print, ankle-length, pointy-toe boots from her favourite shoe label… Stuart Weitzman, which else? A pair of drop earrings, a delicate neckchain and a pair of round sunnies completed Gigi’s ensemble.
Hair & Makeup
The model of the moment stuck to her usual, favoured hair do… a severe high knot. Keeping it really simple in the hair and makeup departments as well, Gigi finished off her look with nude eyes and nude lips.
We just did a quick revision on one of the most important fashion lessons in making a sharp style statement… when working a basic garb, amp it up with a pair of attention-grabbing, envy-inducing, state-making shoes. And we have Gigi Hadid to thank for this revision! In fact, we also have Ms Hadid to thank for adding the animal print to the ‘Hot New Trend We Ought To Try’ list.
