In Pics: First Look Of Miranda Kerr’s Incredibly Gorgeous Dior Wedding Gown
Remember the buzz Miranda Kerr created a couple of months ago (on May 27, 2017, to be precise) when the Victoria’s Secret model decided to keep her much talked-about wedding to Snapchat Founder and CEO, Evan Spiegel, a very private affair with no media and absolutely no social media indulgence. Almost two months since then, Miranda is back to creating monstrous waves on social media surrounding her wedding, this time with her pristine wedding gown.
Kerr grammed a couple of pictures from her wedding day and all people can now talk about is her insanely gorgeous bridal outfit. As it happens, the said bridal garment is doubly special for fashion lovers across the globe because apart from being a stunning creation that Miranda wore on her wedding, it also happens to be Maria Grazia Chiuri’s (the first woman creative head of Dior in almost 70 years) first bridal couture gown.
Crafted out of fine satin, the creamy, off-white Grace Kelly-inspired (one the legendary Hollywood beauty wore on her 1956 wedding) gown features a high neck, long sleeves and Lily-of-the-valley motif appliqued all over its dramatically dreamy train.
With all the elegant purity the gown channelled, it truly lived up to Kerr’s description of an “emotional yet simple” wedding dress. In an interview with Vogue, Chiuri said, “She wanted something like a fairy tale, and she gave me this idea, to make a dress that was emotional and simple at the same time.”
