Kendall And Kylie Dropped Their New Collection And The Internet Isn’t Happy
It is not unlike the Kardashian-Jenners to spark a controversy, be the centre of attraction or the target of trolls. And taking the internet by a storm this time around are the youngest siblings and business partners, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner; unfortunately, not in a good way. A day ago, the girls grammed that they were about to drop their latest vintage t-shirt collection, ‘Rock Vs Rap,’ along with pics of them donning pieces from the said collection. And as soon as the collection was out the internet seemed to have a lot of opinions about it, and not all appreciative.
The 15-piece limited edition collection typically comprises of vintage graphic printed tees featuring album arts of rock groups like Metallica, Pink Floyd, Kiss, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and also pics of iconic late rappers Tupac and Biggie. Superimposed on these prints are pics of Kendall and Kylie and logo of their eponymous brand. One, for example, sees a controversial pic of Kylie from her Insta layered over a picture of Tupac and another one sees Kendall’s face printed over Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album art.
While many are doubting the credibility of these t-shirts as being vintage, there are others who are criticising the girls for having remodelled these tee and superimposing themselves on music legends.
Despite all the criticism, neither Kendall nor Kylie nor any other family member has reacted or replied back to the troll. Now, that’s very unlike them, right? But guess when your collection, priced at $125 a piece, continues to sell (with one piece already marked with ‘low stock’), it’s a comeback in itself.
Here check out some of the tees that are garnering the maximum flak…
